Astrophotography is simply taking photos of the sky, and
objects in the sky. This could be the sun, the moon, and the
planets. These objects are within reach of any budget and are often
the most exciting to image.
What is deep sky photography?
Deep sky imaging is taking photos of nebulae, star clusters,
double-stars, and other faint and fuzzy objects. These objects
usually require very long exposures, and more expensive equipment to
do this well however many objects like M42, M45 are within reach of
everyone even those holding a camera to the eyepiece.
